1.What does "stockphoto" or "making stockphoto" means?

"Stockphoto" is a store of photos. This expression is now generally used for websites which sell digital photos and graphic arts. Photographers and graphics can upload their images to the website; users can download them as large-sized, high quality and royalty free images for free usage.

The restrictions of usage can mean different obligations at different photo agencies. "Regulations" menu contains the possible of usage for images downloaded from this site.

2.How can I buy or download images from this site?

  1. Registrate as a buyer or a photographer!
  2. After registration click “Buy Credits” button in the left menu. You can buy credits following the common web store payment methods. The system records the purchased credits which you can use for unlimited time for downloads from this site.
  3. Open the data sheet of the image (click the given image or its name). Look at the tab of downloading sizes, choose the suitable resolution and click the “Download” icon.

3.Can I get a receipt for the downloaded images?

Of course.

Important: Practically the cashflow occurs when credits are bought, not when the images are downloaded. Therefore we make out the receipt at that time when you buy the credits, and we post you the original copy. You can view over retroactively the copies of the receipts by clicking the “Own Data”, “Total Credit Order” icon in the left menu.

4.If the internet connection is interrupted or other technical error results during downloading and it will be unsuccessful, what does happen with my credits?

The system automatically discounts your credits at the beginning of download, because we cannot control whether the image arrives to the buyer or not. Considering that case the same buyer can download the same image 5 times within 7 days. We do not discount credits for the further downloads. The information about the number and the term of downloading appear above the image on the data sheet and by clicking “Own Data” in the left menu, under “Total Image Buying”.

5.In what security are my uploaded photos?

The short answer is that in our site your works are in complete security on physical and legal terms. The security of our website system is worth of the inviolability of a bank system. The photos are accessible for the general public only in very small resolution or with watermark. The larger resolution photos can be downloaded only by registered buyers, in which case the photographer earns money with his image. On legal terms during the registration the photographer contracts with the operator firm of our website in which they put down the conditions of the copyright and the usages.

6.How much money can I earn with my photos?

The photographer is due to commission after the purchased images. The whole income is depend on the number and the resolution of the downloaded images, or on the individual prize of the image. The more photos you upload the higher chance of making more money with a simply operation.

7.How large are the upload sizes?

8.What does "Gallery" mean?

  1. For buyers: you can collect images to one place, called gallery. At the next login you do not have to start again to choose, because the formerly chosen images are already in your gallery. Accessibility of this gallery can be sent further by email.
  2. For making ad-galleries (if you are a photographer) which can be seen under the upper menu by clicking “Galleries” button. You can order your galleries to any images of yours! In this way it will be possible for the searchers to click further to your own images. What is more you can simply order your formerly uploaded pictures to the newly uploaded ones, therefore they can be searched easier.

Caution! By clicking “Own Galleries” in the left menu, you can open or close your galleries in the “Open” column. If they are closed, no one can see them, only who made them. If they are open, everyone can see them without registration by clicking “Galleries” button of the upper menu. In this way you can order images to galleries which can be seen at the data sheets of the images under the tab of upload sizes. This is the way to use the galleries for advertising.

9.What does "Images Ordering" mean?

6 additional images can be ordered to each one which appear in small size in the data sheet under the main image. These images can be linked too so by clicking they become main images. In this way images in similar theme can be showed at the same time.

Its more advantage is that buyers can click our other images. What is more newly uploaded photos can be ordered to formerly uploaded ones, so they can be searched easier. You can order your photos by “Images Ordering” icon.

10.How and when commission is cashed out?

Commission is cashed out between 1-10. of every month with transferring to the bank account number given by the photographer or the graphic.

The minimal amount of the payout is 20 credits. If the sum of the commission does not reach the minimal level in the given month, the accumulated credits are posted up the next month.

If the photographer or the graphic do not give his bank data (it is not obligatory), the credits are accumulating further for reaching 20 credits. After giving bank data commission will be cashed out between 1-10. of the next month.
